New Logica System
Valcucine has always focused on satisfying customers’ requirements and has painstakingly researched into the use of traditional kitchens to this aim. The result has been the perfection of a few aspects that improve the interaction of Man with the whole kitchen “system”. After having revolutionised ergonomics by presenting the Logica System in 1996 with its 80 cm depth and equipped back section, removable jumbo drawers and wall units with Ala and Aerius lift-up doors, Valcucine is now presenting the evolution of this equipped back section.
It is called New Logica System.
Everything on hand. Everything tidy in an instant.
The back section is capable of containing and concealing, when necessary, all the kitchen equipment: the dish-drainer, weighing scales, small appliances, removable cooking receptacles, bottle-racks, power sockets, a monitor, a kitchen roll holder, the tap, hooks for utensils and even a cooker hood. The back section doors open through special barbells that does not damege overtime.
Valcucine, has always been very attentive to the requirements of the end user, has carried out careful analyses on the use of traditional kitchens and has perfected some methods aimed at improving the interaction between man and the entire kitchen “system”.
A traditional wall unit is usually installed at a height that prevents you from having a complete view of the objects located on the top shelf, making it difficult to use, especially for short people.
This back section allows you to stand further away from the wall units which can now be lowered, making them more visible and accessible and increasing the space in front of them.
Wall units with traditionally opening doors are an obstacle and give you a closed-in feeling. Furthermore, due to the fact that the door often remains open, it is extremely likely that you will bump your head when moving around. The balanced lift-up door can stay open all the time necessary and allows you to move around sideways and bend over with no fear of bumping or banging your head.
The dish drainer installed at a traditional height is awkward to use: the movement to put the plates away is unnatural and tiring and it is inevitable for water to drip down your arm.
The back channel depth makes it possible to fit the dish drainer inside the back panel, behind the sink. It is possible to put the plates to drain without tiring yourself and without water dripping down your arm.
Ergonomics is the science that studies the relationship of people with the objects they use and the spaces they live in. In the kitchen, the need to have everything on hand and to move freely and tirelessly is often not satisfied because furniture is rarely designed to meet the physical features of each user.
When buying a product it is important to find out about the aspects that allow you to make a rational choice in order to avoid working in a kitchen in which getting into uncomfortable positions that are harmful for your health becomes inevitable.
Valcucine since the 90ies has developed ergonomic studies to produce a customised kitchen in which dimensions, distances, opening and access system, visibility and work all adapt perfectly to those who use them, like a tailor-made garment made-to-measure on the purchaser.
Industries often design and manufacture products that do not keep Man’s real necessities in consideration. By advertising they induce needs in consumers that are neither authentic nor a priority.
Valcucine believes that it adheres to the ethical principle of the satisfaction of Man’s real needs.
In its design, in particular, it considers the following aspects as fundamental and indispensable:
attention to functionality: in more than 20 years the company has developed advanced ergonomics in the production of its kitchens;
respect for health: Valcucine has pursued and constantly pursues ideas that reduce or completely cancel the toxic emissions of furniture in domestic environments.
At the same time we try to reduce the impact as much as possible designing and producing environmentally friendly products. This mean:
a) taking special care to produce with a low consumption of raw materials and energy;
b) producing with recyclable or reusable materials;
c) reducing toxic emissions and polluting chemical substances, both during production and utilisation;
d) ensuring product durability (technical and aesthetic)
This kitchen looks like it has been designed for a cook who also likes design. We cook a lot at home and this kitchen seems very useable. – Chris Force
