Geoff is a freelance writer, curator, and the author of BLDGBLOG, where he publishes widely on questions of landscape, architecture, and technology. He is also the author of The BLDGBLOG Book (Chronicle Books, 2009), Landscape Futures (ACTAR/Nevada Museum of Art, 2013), and a forthcoming study of the relationship between burglary and the built environment (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2014). Manaugh is the former director of Studio-X NYC, an off-campus urban futures think tank run by the architecture department at Columbia University, and he is now editor-in-chief of Gawker Media’s technology and design blog Gizmodo.

Jake is principal and founder of Local Projects, a group that’s creating the media design for the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum with Diller Scofidio + Renfro and the Frank Gehry-designed Eisenhower Presidential Memorial. Local Projects is a 2013 National Design Award winner for Interaction Design and was named second of the top ten most innovative design firms by Fast Company for its redefinition of emotional storytelling. Jake is recognized as a leader in the field of interaction design for physical spaces and in the creation of collaborative storytelling projects where participants generate content. Clients include SFMOMA, StoryCorps, GE, Johnson & Johnson, BMW Guggenheim Lab, Cleveland Museum of Art, Seaworld, Microsoft, the National Museum of African-American History and Culture, Paley Center for Media and the Sugar Hill Museum of Children’s Art and Storytelling.

Co-Founder of EFGH and Adjunct Professor at The Cooper Union
Hayley is an architect, educator and principal, with Frank Gesualdo, of EFGH. She is currently an adjunct Professor at The Cooper Union, a visiting lecturer at Princeton University, and co-founder of EFGH. She received a B.A.S from The University of Cape Town in 1997, a Bachelor’s of Architecture from the Cooper Union in 2000, and a Master’s of Architecture from Princeton University in 2002. Eber joined Diller Scofidio + Renfro in 2002, where her experience has ranged from temporary installation and media work, performance, architectural competitions and large-scale urban projects. Prior to joining DS+R, she worked at Eisenman Architects on the Arizona Cardinals Stadium and the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, and at Wiel Arets Architects in Maastricht on the Utrecht University Library.

Yen is a founding principal of Front Studio, established in 2001 in New York City. She completed her undergraduate work with honors and continued with post-graduate work in urbanism at L’École d’Architecture in Paris, France. Fluent in French and Vietnamese, Yen is a LEED accredited professional and a licensed architect whose recent work has been featured in Interior Design, Icon Magazine, Wallpaper, and The New York Times. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, California.
