HEROS-titan

Harder than any operation

With the HEROS-titan, Rosenbauer sets a new standard for maximum safety in firefighting operations. The new generation of HEROS firefighting helmets combines maximum protection with ease and perfect fit. With a tradition of innovation, formquadrat and Rosenbauer have developed a helmet, which at approx. 1.3 kg offers maximum comfort. Harder than every operation, it withstands high mechanical loads and temperatures of more than 300 °C without problem. The new HEROS-titan is made to exist in all operations – and made to protect lives.

The new HEROS-titan is one of the safest firefighting helmets of the world. The heat and flame resistance of the helmet shell has been improved once again. Its outer shell, with an innovative, sporty bionic design and made of high-performance polyamide guarantees maximum mechanical protective properties for many years and withstands, thanks to excellent stability, temperatures of -40 to over 300 °C. This provides firefighters with maximum security during operations, even in extreme temperatures and dicey situations.

Harder than any operation

The new generation of HEROS firefighting helmets

The formal orientation is clearly the topic ”fire fighter”, a heroic affect for the user.

Its about saving and protecting humans lives during fire fighting and other extreme situations.

Especially the lives of injured as well as the lives of the forces.

Heroic virtues, which are visualized through the equipment, the helmet in particular.

Creatively formquadrat tried to put more emphasis on those emotions through formal shapes such as bevels and edges.

The helmet expresses power/strength, dynamic and lightness.

On the basis of bionic structures, those edges function - besides of the creative components - also through stiffening.

This allowed formquadrat to reduce thickness and therefore weight to the minimum.

Because of all those reasons, the HEROS-titan firefighting helmet sets the benchmark in the fields of firefighting helmets.

Jury Commentary
Quite well done. It’s a professional product, but also stylish with proportional details. Quite well resolved!
Well integrated, and quite modern.
