Knowing that portability is critical for our users, Pixelbook Go features a Magnesium enclosure (superior strength to weight ratio when compared to Aluminum) making it one of the thinnest and lightest laptops in its class at 13mm and barely 2lbs.

The ‘Wavy’ bottom of Pixelbook Go acts as a grippable surface making it easier for the user to hold and carry in one hand. The pattern also serves as a tactile cue for the user as to what’s the top versus the bottom when pulling the device out of a bag.

And the hush keys are a delight to type on. We've taken what customers love about Pixelbook and Pixel Slate/ Pixel Slate Keyboard and gone a step further. The key feel is solid and inviting but exceptionally human/warm/quiet. Our team (including designers, engineers, human factors researchers, etc.) has worked extremely carefully and passionately to deliver an amazing typing experience that is quiet and soft, something we’re very proud of because we know how much the typing experience matters to our users.
