We designed this travel set for No Reception Club, a small but mighty travel essentials startup. Their mission is to inspire parents to unplug and go on adventures with their little ones -- from Saturday "day-cations", to overnight staycations, to week-long vacations!

The resulting collection includes a medium size backpack with unique organization for parents and a hip-pack with smart pockets for diaper changing essentials. The two bags can be used together or separately. They are equally at home on an airplane, train, mass transit, road trip, or exploring on foot.

The Getaway Bag

A sophisticated travel backpack that is so organized that parents can use it with their eyes closed, and while balancing a little one on their hip. We designed it as the ultimate bag for traveling with your young children. It has sections for all of the essentials needed for the parent and child on a flight, car trip or just out for the day.

The Sidekick

A hip pack that makes diaper changes on the go a breeze. It becomes a wearable organizer for your diapers, cream and wipes for use in a public restroom, airport pit stop or on a blanket in a park. Plus the Sidekick fits perfectly into the side pocket of The Getaway Bag.

Materials and Sustainability

No Reception Club were interested in doing as little harm to the environment as possible with their new product line. So we helped them find and source a high-strength and super functional set of fabrics. The main fabric is a recycled polyester made from textile manufacturing scraps. The leather details are all vegetable tanned. We selected the highest quality zippers and trims so the bag will be usable throughout the lifetime of your kids (or longer).

The poly bag that the products are shipped in are also made using 100% recycled content. We were able to eliminate one extra poly bag commonly used, by combining the shipping envelope and protective poly bag into one piece. The bag that the consumer receives is the same one that we get shipped directly from the factory.
