E-YES is a game-based aid to correct children's amblyopia through exploration and training. Various modular combinations encourage amblyopic children to perform visual zoom, dedicated eye muscle exercise, and color discrimination. The lens on both sides of the telescope work with AR transparencies for children to imagine and explore. The lens in the eye and the ciliary muscle is exercised when the eye switches between near and far objects, also can take a vision test with a different lens.
Children's amblyopia is a growing problem, and due to the rise of electronics and technology, there are many children around us who need vision therapy from an earlier age.
The existing amblyopia treatments are not child-friendly, prone to hazards, inconveniences, and the training process is unattractive for children, so we wanted to create a child-friendly amblyopia trainer.
Mode A. Focus training mode
The small ball rolls in the maze, and the child's eyes will automatically follow and focus. It can also be combined with color training, zoom training and other modules for difficulty adjustment to train the child's eyes in focusing and concentrating.
Mode B. Focus change training
The AR transparencies do not require electric power and allow children to explore the environment while training their eyes to change the focal length. The rationale is that the ciliary muscle relaxes when the eye looks at a distant pattern and contracts at a close pattern. Children exercise their eyes while having fun.
Mode C. Vision test
It is a sensitive period for children's visual development before the age of 6, and it is especially important for children to protect and train their eyesight. Regular testing to track changes in children's vision is the most effective means of detecting myopia or other eye disorders and diseases in children as early as possible.Parents can use the E-YES vision test panel and guide children to rotate the module. Regular testing tracks changes in children's vision and detects problems for early treatment.
E-YES Amblyopia Trainer is to improve children's amblyopia. E-YES starts from the core value of child-friendly medical care, and hopes to make children have a better medical experience through product design.
