Design

The aesthetics of Beats Fit Pro are driven by the intent to design the best fitting earbud possible. The soft pebbly main body nests comfortably inside the concha of the user's ear. The distinctive face of the product is defined by an extruded pill shape that tugs perfectly in-between tragus and antitragus to avoid pressure points and to stabilize the product inside the ear. This proud feature is capped off with a soft, TPE faceplate that extends backwards into the wingtip. The iconic beats 'b' marks the front of that faceplate as well as the center point of the button. With the introduction of color this faceplate becomes a recognizable element that ties the branding element and the novel integrated wingtip feature into a single, highly iconic silhouette.

Sound

Beats Fit Pro has three listening modes. While using Active Noise Canceling (ANC), outward-facing and inward-facing microphones work together to limit unwanted environmental sounds with targeted anti-noise, even as the sounds around the user change. Beats Fit Pro's ANC continuously adapts in real time, up to 200 times per second, to account for variances in fit and movement.

With a push of the "b" button on either earbud, users can easily switch to Transparency mode to hear the world around them. When both ANC and Transparency are turned off, Adaptive EQ is enabled. Each earbud has an inward-facing microphone that listens to the sound the user is hearing and automatically tunes the low- and mid-frequencies to the shape of their ear for superior sound quality and consistency.

Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking provides an immersive, theater-like experience. The gyroscopes and accelerometers in both Beats Fit Pro, iPhone or iPad are used to track the motion of the user's head as well as their device and compare the motion data. The sound field is then remapped so it stays anchored to the device, even as the user's head moves.
