Convex / Concave: Belgian Contemporary Art

"Convex/Concave: Belgian Contemporary Art" is an exhibition curated by Dirk Snauwaert from WIELS and TANK Shanghai's mutual respect and passion for the cultures and arts of the two countries in 2019. I redesigned the visual identity that showcases the concept, features, and considerations of the exhibition.

The basic framework of the visual concept is highly inspired by the Chinese characters of Convex (?) /Concave (?) and how Belgian art distinguishes itself from its meticulous, precise and detailed observation, not of the grand schemes of philosophers or theoreticians, but of the everyday world.
