This Dolce & Gabbana runway-inspired collection emulates the vibrant city of Palermo, which preserves some of Italy's most beautiful historical architecture and Sicilian culture. The handbags and footwear emulate the grande architecture and exuberant passementeries, while also adding a contemporary twist to the historical styles.
The technical collection includes design and product research, sketches, a lineup of five handbags and five pairs of shoes, specification sheets, and one pair of shoes created in Solidworks and rendered in Keyshot. All sketching was done by hand and was then used to create renders and fashion industrycompliant specification sheets in Adobe Illustrator. The specification sheets display a detailed account of the product's measurements and material callouts. Measurements from the specification sheets were then used to create a modified version of shoe No. 2 in Solidworks and then fully rendered in Keyshot.
