Ease

Our team collaborated for our human factors class. We wanted to help 'ease' young girls into their menstrual cycle. So we branched off to redesign the tampon applicator to be less intimidating, more user friendly and to have a smaller impact on the environment. It soon evolved into using our product as a platform for education and to promote feminine hygiene as a less taboo subject.

Most girls receive knowledge on their period care through someone they know. This however, is very limiting if your mentor only uses one product or you don't havea motherly figure in your life. Ease is a period starter kit that has a sample of each type of period management on the market to try in the comfort of your own home.72% of girl age 13-14 have access to a smart phone so we pared an application that not only teaches girls about all their options for period management but allowsthem a safe place to ask questions, gain advice and get to understand all the strange things puberty brings about.
