Torun Degnes, is a Management Consultant with more than 20 years of experience with design and innovation processes in a wide range of businesses. She is industrial designer from education and has a broad experience from different leading positions, previously CEO of a multi disciplinary product development consultancy.
Torun was for many years the board deputy chairman of the Norwegian Design Council and board member of one Innovation Norway regional office.
Torun is an experienced juror and Jury Leader for the Norwegian Design Excellence Award.
Tracy DeLuca is the Founder of How Might We Design, a mental health-focused creative consultancy. Recently, as the Principal Design Lead for Sutter Health, Tracy helped launch a series of successful innovation initiatives across the system, including a new virtual-first primary care model that integrates behavior change into everyday care, supported by a more accessible value-based insurance experience. Additionally, she was Design Lead for Sutter’s Mental Health Reimagined initiative, where her work focused on a human-centered deep dive into the Acute Care experience, and strategic development of an engagement platform to support youth transitioning out of formal care back into their everyday lives. Prior to her healthcare industry experience, Tracy spent 7 years at global design firm IDEO, as a Communications Design & Project Lead, and 10 years in advertising.
Matheus Demetrescu is graduated in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, post graduated in Vehicles and Its Subsystems, with two MBAs, in Business Management and in UX Design Strategy Management. Career initiated on window-shops creation (Sylvia Demetresco) and since 2007 working at Ford representing the voice of the customer inside Product Development, ensuring company strategy and customer satisfaction balance. In 2014 created the User Experience area in South America to have the user-centered focus on the development. Has lived in US, France and Germany as part of professional and academical life, and has worked in large corporations such as Pilkington, Volkswagen and Unilever.

Hrridaysh has been in the field of education for over 21 years. Presently, Hrridaysh is the member of Governing Body of Ajeenkya DY Patil University and is the Director of DYPDC School of Design and School of Film and Media.
He is associated with the India Design Council (IDC) as its consultant advisor. IDC is a national strategic body of Government of India established under the aegis of Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Government of India. Under the aegis of IDC he is spearheading the India Design Mark program in cooperation with Good Design Award, Japan. He is the member of CII National Committee on Design. In 2004 he founded Creative-i College one of India’s first private initiatives in the field of Design Education.

British illustrator and author Marion Deuchars works with major design and advertising agencies, publishes illustrated children's books and has created a globally recognized style of hand-lettering. Whether it's client work for the likes of The Royal Mail and The Imperial War Museum, or inspiring youngsters with her Let's Make Great Art books, Marion's impact on the creative scene continues to be wide-ranging. She is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale and represented the UK at Helsinki's World Design Capital celebrations.Her latest book, Draw Paint Print like the Great Artists, was published by Laurence King in Autumn 2014.
Desmond Dickerson is Director, Future of Work at Microsoft. He studies trends and market forces to help people understand how work is changing and what is required for them to adapt and thrive in this new world.
Daniel Dickson is an Emmy award winning design-driven creative director. Specializing in brand development, art direction and design for consumer-centered brands. Drawing from a deep well of art, music, cinema, photography and technology references. Creating meaningful work that helps brands connect with their audiences.
He currently is the design director for Google Cloud. Where he leads a motley crew of designers, writers and thinkers. In his down time he likes to practice photography and drawing. Daniel is based in Atwater Village in Los Angeles where he lives with partner Natalie and their 3 month old boy, Maxwell and 7yr old Mathis.
Svenja Diekmann is the Head of Design for Stockholm-based design brand, Hem where she oversees the brand’s daily design operations, from Hem’s various design departments, to material and color research, to R&D work with their European factory network. She has overseen some of Hem’s most iconic products, such as the Palo sofa, Alphabeta lamps and the Arthur Arbesser blankets and rugs, to name a few. Prior to her work with Hem, she worked with many some of Europe’s leading design firms, such as Patricia Urqiola.
Rachael is the founder of Social Workers Who Design and speaks publicly about, educates on, and advocates for greater awareness to the value of social work in design, as well as responsible and respectful trauma responsive, healing focused, and care centered design practices and research. Her current work draws from north of 20 years of experience across serious and complex cause-driven social justice issues in health and human rights, student rights advocacy, housing and homelessness services, and teaching and program management at the intersection of social work, social impact, and design in higher education.
Tariq Dixon founded TRNK in 2013 as a destination for fellow design enthusiasts seeking rarefied products in a more approachable setting. A creative strategist and product designer, he’s motivated by the role designed environments play in shaping our interactions, memories, and experiences. His work has been featured in NY Times, The Wall Street Journal, and New York Magazine, to name a few. Tariq is originally from Baltimore, a graduate of Harvard College, and has called New York City home for more than ten years.
Marc Dones has worked in program and policy development for their entire career. Currently their work focuses on the development and integration of equity oriented policies and program procedures across a number of projects. In this role Marc also leads the SPARC (Supporting Partnerships for Anti-Racist Communities) Initiative. SPARC is currently focused on reframing homelessness response systems through an anti-racist lens. Additionally, Dones worked with a small team of C4 staff to build a training institute for over 300 provider agencies funded to work with individuals living with substance use disorders. Prior to joining C4, Dones served as a Program Manager in the MA Executive Office of Health and Human services where they assisted in the development and implementation of Governor Deval Patrick’s youth violence reduction program, the Safe and Successful Youth Initiative. Additionally, Marc served as the policy manager for the Massachusetts Special Commission on Unaccompanied Homeless Youth.

After graduating from the Art Center College of Design, Doucet quickly began exporting his vision into product, furniture, environment, and technology to find solutions for daily and societal challenges through design. His work deftly hybridizes function and visual appeal while conveying layers of meaning and message. Doucet believes that design and, more importantly, a designer’s thought process can play a larger role in innovation and problem solving, as well as aesthetics. He currently holds numerous patents for his designs and inventions.
Doucet’s work has been exhibited globally, including the London Design Museum and the Biennale International Design in Saint-Etienne. He has received numerous international awards, including a World Technology Award for Design Innovation and multiple Good Design Awards. Louse is Head of Design for the UK government, based at GDS where she leads a 600 strong team of designers working across government to transform services.
Louise joined GDS in 2014 as the first service designer in government and has established the discipline since then. She is now programme director for the new Services authority at GDS.
With a background in Art, Linguistics and Economics Louise started her career as a writer and producer at Tate, where she lead on digital audience development before working as a consultant in the re-design of large, recently privatised utilities like health, telecommunications, energy and finance.
She’s a passionate believer in using design to solve complex problems and is a prominent protagonist in the design industry - redefining the practice of service design to be a practical, technically embedded profession.
