The objective was to create a gift for our clients that shows our data visualization expertise under Post Ratio, our new brand of thoughtfully designed goods that help people live better.
Our solution was "The Bountiful Year," a poster inspired by Shun, a Japanese philosophy that food should be eaten only in its proper season and when it is at the peak of its flavor.

This seasonal guide focuses on California, where the majority of the produce in the U.S. is grown. In order to create such a complete list, we consulted various sources.
To make the contents visually interesting and dynamic, we chose the open-book layout as a structure and incorporated plant elements in line art. The combination of different colored paper and metallic foils brought it to life.
The result is a beautifully designed limited edition poster that will hopefully inspire people to eat seasonally.
