Montana is a creative strategist and design leader with a track record of advancing innovation in education, healthcare, financial services, government, and public and social services. She has worked across four continents—partnering with communities, system stakeholders, innovators, governments, and policymakers—to create inclusive, community-led solutions ranging from digitally-enabled financial savings products for smallholder farmers to brand and service delivery strategies for HIV prevention, co-designed with girls and women in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Dave Milestone has worked extensively in human-centered innovation and social impact. He currently serves as Managing Director for the Americas at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI), where he helps governments apply technology and AI to deliver more responsive, citizen-focused services. He has built and led TBI’s growing Americas portfolio across eight countries, shaping strategies that center on people’s needs in areas such as health, education, climate, and digital public infrastructure.
Dave has spent his career advancing human-centered design (HCD) and innovation in global health. As (Acting) Director of USAID’s Center for Innovation and Impact, he oversaw a large innovation portfolio, championed the use of HCD to shape product design and delivery, and co-created Design for Health, a partnership with the Gates Foundation.
He has advised leading organizations, including Stanford BioDesign, McKinsey, and major global health donors, on how to design products, partnerships, and systems that reflect real user needs and drive adoption at scale.
Dave holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, an MS in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, along with graduate degrees from the Harvard Kennedy School and Northwestern's Kellogg School and an engineering master’s from Stanford University.
Swar is a co-founder and design lead at Xeno Co-lab, and has led teams & projects for global tech companies, fast growing start-ups and pioneers in financial inclusion to help them design user-centric experiences using service design. She has an educational background in Graphic Design with a deep understanding of human-centred design (HCD) and holds a MFA in Design for Social Innovation. Prior to Xeno Co-lab, she worked as a Service Designer at Veryday (McKinsey Design) in NYC and Stockholm.
She is driven by the pursuit of merging her passion for social innovation with her expertise in service design through projects that lead to designing accessible products & services for marginalised or underserved communities especially in emerging markets.
A graduate of Brandeis University in Massachusetts with a Master's degree in Sustainable Development, Aziz Sy has worked in business support since joining CTIC as a project manager in 2014. Since then, in 2018, he founded the Impact Hub Dakar incubator, which has supported over 250 companies, and managed the DNA Business Angels network, followed by the La Tanière Business Angels network and the Suguba accelerator. He dedicates most of his time to financing and training startups and has been developing various programs and events in this area for over 10 years.
