Fit Lighting can stand alone or integrate and bend into any scenario.

Fit Lighting is a flexible cord that can be bent into any customized shape or can be easily formed into multiple pre-existing template shapes. Fit Lighting can also wrap around any object to provide light where counter, table, desk, or floor space come at a premium. Fit Lighting is effortlessly bent back into its original shape or a new shape. It does not work harden or deform.

Fit Lighting is a detail oriented and material driven project; it is a corded lamp, because simple, minimal, and inexpensive solutions can impact and reach the most people.

Why?

It goes without saying that products should be a delight; Fit lighting is flat out fun.

Just as importantly, Fit Lighting fills a need. The world is changing; what people need today is lighting performance, customized lighting with a feel that is appropriate to whoever they are, lighting at a low cost, and lighting with no permanent infrastructure because people are more mobile than ever.

Who?

Fit Lighting was designed for people on ends of the age demographic spectrum. By making a light that is fun for kids to play with and just as much of a delight for the grandparents, everyone in between is bound to love the lamp too.

How?

Fit Lighting is unique in a saturated lamp market by utilizing materials and function that have not been introduced into the lighting industry. Fit Lighting achieves the core of its bend by using an a nickel-blend aluminum armature wire. This nickel alloy is being used in sculpting applications and is a viable material to transfer into the lighting industry. This alloy allows for both strength, an easy bend, and longevity. The thin electrical wire is sealed parallel to the armature wire by encasing both in a .2 inch thick injection molded silicone. The silicone encasing allows the armature wire to still bend properly, and it dampens the vibration of the lamp when it is bumped. It will not shake or sway when standing at attention. The polypropylene rope is not only a beautiful way to seal the product together, but it is also dirt and abrasion resistant. The rope is easily bent. The rope is easily changed out to provide the right feel for any user or color scheme. While doing all of this, it only costs .03 cents per foot.

Fit Lighting uses dimmable LED's that can create light for versatile moods and scenarios that require warm or cool light. With a quick twist of the lamp's head, the paper difuser turns Fit Lighting from a spot / task lamp to ambient light.

Fit Lighting's standard is to come sealed together with spalted maple caps. These feel at home in any home. They also exemplify fine craft and finish by being sanded to a 2000 grit finish. These convey a high standard to every customer, however the parts are small and only undergo one manufacturing process (simple lathe or auto-lathe). This means producing that feel of high craft still comes at a very low cost.
