Inspired by ancient grain mills, our Stone Pepper Mill has a patent-pending cut stone pattern for a consistent and generous output that cleverly dispenses from the side so no crumbs are left on the countertop. Early prototyping illustrated that, unlike other pepper mills on the market, the Stone Pepper Mill actually improves with age; as the peppercorns release their natural oils, the grind becomes smoother. It also features a snap closure lid for simple refilling and an adjustment bar that allows users to easily set the coarseness of their grind from fine to cracked pepper. Leveraging heirloom technology, our team reimagined how it might fit into modern kitchens today. Using natural materials such as the ash wood body, whose soft form contrasts with the rough granite stone, we created a piece that is as beautiful to look at as it is to use.
