The project "SHAN" dedicates to the eating experience and possible lunchbox development. Our goal is to design a self-heating, modular, easy packaging and exquisite lunchbox with a tablecloth that simultaneously serves as a packaging cover for working adults. Especially for adults who have outdoor jobs can heat their food anywhere, anytime. Unlike electronic or regular lunchboxes in the market, "SHAN" is more lightweight and provides customizations.

A good lunch leads to good emotion. However, the overall lunch experience for the outdoor working adults who bring their lunchbox to work is terrible. The reason is that they need help finding a place to heat food. So our product "SHAN" provides a new design innovation to improve this issue. "SHAN" contains a heating bag in the bottom layer. When users press the metal piece inside the heating bag, kinetic energy breaks the balance of sodium acetate, and it starts a self-heating reaction. Liquid emits heat from the reaction, reaches 80 °C, and finally becomes crystalline. If users heat the heating bag in hot water or a microwave, its crystalline form will return to liquid form and allow users to use it again. So adults who have outdoor jobs can heat their food anywhere, anytime. In addition, we also offer customizations for users. Users can customize the shape of modular dividers and colors according to their preferences.
