EasyGo

EasyGo is an energy-free exoskeleton for walking assistance. Its aesthetics and engineering were designed to foster a natural gait and a fit that look and feel more like putting on sportswear rather than a bulky, intimidating machine. As a lightweight exoskeleton for individual consumers, it can be used in the elderly care service and rehabilitation industry. It helps people with low leg strength to lift their thighs and walk easier.

It is small, light, and easy to wear. Inspired by the human body's flesh and bones, it has a layered structure of the soft fabric and a back panel that helps the device fit correctly, stably, and comfortably.

Idea

We found that elderly people and rehabilitated patients have troubles like hitch gait, insufficient leg strength and high falling risks, which seriously weakens their daily quality of life. However, wheelchairs are large and bulky, and a sedentary lifestyle is not conducive to leg rehabilitation and health; mobility aids sound like a better solution, but they are not conducive to proper gait. Exoskeletons are another answer, however, medical exoskeletons are too expensive and energy-dependent.

EasyGo is practical and effective, and solves these pain points: it's small, lightweight, easy to use, cheap, and totally energy-free.

Form

EasyGo is a wearable assisted exoskeleton, so the design revolves around the realization of function and comfortable wear, which consists of assisted structure modules, a back plate, straps, and some connecting parts. From a product design point of view, by full use of symbols and affordance, users can understand the product instantly when they saw the images; besides, with appropriate aesthetic design, the stretching, ergonomic curve tells consumers it will fit them well.

The products are manufactured by injection molding, CNC engraving, and fabric weaving, the process is mature, stable, and reliable. Finally, it relies on manual assembly.

Function

The product can adapt to different bodies after full ergonomic data analysis and design.

The binding method fully considers comfort of wearing and flexibility of activities.

The product does not require an energy supply so is always ready to wear, and is light enough to impose less burden on users.

The power-assisted modules adopt an artful spring cam mechanism, it uses the force of the natural lowering of the legs under the action of gravity to complete the energy storage and releases it when the legs begin lifting. After fatigue testing, the product remains effective after 30 million reciprocating movements.

Differentiation

EasyGo is a new solution for the demand and market of walking assistance, based on the exoskeleton form and distinguished from other products, providing another choice for users.

EasyGo is a lightweight exoskeleton specially designed for rehabilitated patients and the elderly with lower limb muscle weakness, The product is expected to open up consumer market, and enhance brand awareness.

Impact

EasyGo provides walking assistance and leg lifts function to help the elderly and patients who sit around at home regain their walking ability - to walk with less effort and reduce the risk of stumbling and falling. It helps users to go outdoors and enjoy a good life.

The product does not require electrical energy, so its production does not cause battery pollution. The parts are streamlined, easy to manufacture, and durable for long-term use.
