Through a break-through and patented innovation, the bike can be both used as an E-bike as well as a conventional mechanic bike. This is achieved by a removable battery pack (Smartpac) and by adding a clutch to the hub motor, which completely takes away any resistance from the 250W hub motor (Dual Mode Hub). This allows for very different use cases: a super comfortable electric commute and a smooth human-powered sporty bike ride on the weekend.

The highlight of the LEMMO One is the 250W hub motor, which can be completely disconnected from the drivetrain. This turns the E-bike into a conventional bike of only 15kg - without the additional weight of the battery and without motor-related pedaling resistance.

Smartpac

Besides supporting very different use cases, the LEMMO One also addresses another very important aspect of E-bikes. Where traditional bikes easily have a lifespan of 10-15 years, the electric drivetrain technology (mainly controller, battery pack and battery management) is still developing and improving every few years. An all-in-one pack, Smartpac is the brains of LEMMO ONE. In addition to the bike's battery, it houses all electric systems outside of the frame, including the motor controller and IoT device. Each is interconnected by a CAN bus network, a robust standard that allows microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other's applications without a host computer. The Smartpac supports 4G networks, GPS tracking and FOTA for wireless updating of the system. The Smartpac can easily be updated every few years (even in a subscription program), keeping your LEMMO One up to date always. Taken from the bike, the Smartpac can be used as a power bank for all your mobile devices.

Frame

The beautifully smooth aluminum frame (available in a regular and a step-through version and 2 sizes) features a new advanced, no welding technology, introduced from the automotive and aeronautical industry, resulting in a super smooth result.

Hub lock

A nicely hidden electronic hub lock protects the LEMMO One against theft, and allows for shared use with your family and friends.
