BoBaby Snail Snacker

The Snail Snacker provides an independent learning experience for young children while enjoying nutritious snacks. The eight colorful clicking lids and hidden treats encourage young children to recognize color and train their fine motor skills.

The Snail Snacker is a snacker box that mimics the form factor of a snail. It has eight lids following a spiral form factor that resembles the shell of a snail. Children are encouraged to open these lids themselves to discover the snacks inside. It is made with 100% food-grade materials including PP, PC, and silicone.

The Snail Snacker is very portable and ideal for picnics. Parents can bring a healthy range of snacks for their kids to enjoy. The snail snacker is easy to clean and it is also dishwasher safe. The lids are attached to the main dish cover so that the snail snacker can be opened to refill by a simple twist mechanism.

INSPIRATION

Inspired by watching our children hiding their snacks inside their colorful toys, we developed the Snail Snacker that combined this behavior with motor skills training and color recognition. We have chosen a pastel color scheme with core colors so that it would be more child-friendly when parents introduce basic color names to their children. The clicking lids have different opening directions to train the children's fine motor skills and dexterity.

BENEFITS FOR CHILDREN

The snail character of the snail snacker act as a learning companion. Children enjoy playing with the snail tentacles while snacking. In the early stage of development, our user testing group stated that a companion element would encourage children to interact with the snack box more often and will develop a habit of using it more easily. The spiral shape also helps guide children to open the lids one by one.

HOW TO USE

The simple twist mechanism aligns the top cover with the base silicone tray. Parents can refill the snacker box in one go without opening individual lids. The eight separated compartments allow parents to fill them with a variety of snacks.
