Bacteria Museum is an imaginary museum located in New York City. It explored the fascinating microscopic world of bacteria. The museum showcases the incredible diversity of bacterial life and the many ways in which bacteria impact our world.
Bacteria are among the fastest reproducing organisms in the world. The reproduction process is called the binary fission process, which is how organisms duplicate their genetic material (DNA), by dividing into two. The concept of the bacteria museum's visual design is centered around utilizing the "binary fission process" shape as a fundamental module to construct a visual identity system. Typeface, pattern, way-finding system, and even museum floor plan was created based on this concept. This system reflects the dynamic, fluid, and organic nature of bacteria. My goal is to immerse visitors in the wonder of bacterial world and educate them about these incredible organisms.
