Theragun G3PRO

The TheraGun G3PRO is a professional-grade percussive therapy device that combines the science of 16mm amplitude, frequency, and torque - the essential triad required to relieve pain, improve movement, and aid in recovery. The G3PRO uses these three principles to speak to your body in a language it can understand. Theragun's proprietary 16 mm amplitude provides deep muscle relief, and overall recovery, decreasing pain and increasing range of motion The G3PRO operates at a frequency of 2400 RPMs, the optimal calibration for encouraging the Gate Control Theory of Pain - essentially overriding your brain's response to pain. With a high-quality industrial-grade motor, the G3PRO can withstand up to 60lbs of maximum force. Without stalling. Theragun worked closely with mechanical and sound engineers from MIT to design the functional elements of the new G3PRO. They fully redesigned our gearbox from scratch, and reduced the overall noise levels without sacrificing our strict performance requirements of amplitude, frequency, and torque. With the newly-crafted gearbox, high precision machinery, and state-of-the-art sound insulating techniques, we were able to reduce the noise of the gearbox by more than 50% from our earlier models.

Percussive therapy enhances the repair of the muscle fibers through short-duration pulses deep into the tissues of your body. These percussions encourage blood flow to those areas, thereby improving range of motion, speeding up recovery, and relieving chronic and everyday pain. Our mission was to create a hand- held solution to this medical-grade therapy, thereby bringing the most sophisticated healing modality to everyone on planet earth.

Dr. Jason S. Wersland, D.C., is a chiropractor and the founder/inventor of Theragun. After being in a motorcycle accident that caused a disc herniation, resulting in intense pain and eventual atrophy, he recognized an extraordinary need for an effective home or portable treatment device for patients to use as they needed.

His philosophy behind Theragun came from several perspectives. As an athlete, he recognized athletes' unique need to be involved in their own muscle recovery. As a chiropractor, he wanted the best product for both ease of use and effectiveness. As a practitioner, he wanted a less expensive, more efficient, and more accessible product than what was available on the market. To solve this problem, Dr. Jason spent 8 years developing the Theragun. With its uniquely calibrated frequency, amplitude, and torque, the Theragun was engineered to effectively treat sore lactic-acid-filled muscles and other muscle-related conditions. Additionally, it allows the activation of muscles and joints to achieve a broader range of motion.
