As the industrial design lead at X, Matt works with project teams to translate moonshot ideas into hardware solutions. Working at the intersection of prototypes and products, Matt has helped bring some of X’s best known moonshots into the world — from smart contact lenses, to drone delivery packages, to high speed connectivity solutions. Prior to joining X, Matt’s career had taken him to a variety of dynamic design environments including the pop culture deluged gaming hanger of Astro Studios, the strategic lead and high-design focused studio of Fuseproject, and overseas to the culturally rich and fast-paced settings of HaA Design in Seoul, South Korea. Clients included: Alessi, Alienware, Boxee, Burton, British Telecom, Hewlett Packard, HTC, iRiver, Korea Telecom, Litl, Microsoft, Migo, Nike, Ooma, Pogoplug, Purple, Samsung, Targus, among others.
Randall Jones is an interior designer at Yabu Pushelberg and adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design. She is an alumna of Howard University and received her MFA in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design. She founded Obsidian, the black student design organization at Parsons in the Fall of 2018. She also serves on the Parsons Committee on Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice. Randall is committed to working to help expand the pipeline of students and professionals that are under-represented in the design industry. Currently, her work focuses in luxury hospitality, retail, and residential design. Prior to interior design, Randall spent 7 years working within the advertising and marketing space as an Art Director.
Jayson is a design leader turning design thinking into action. He leverages the experience from his diverse creative career for the benefit of every challenge he takes on, bringing focus to the fuzzy front end, embracing the difficult challenges, collaborating transparently, leading with integrity.
Jayson has led some of the industry's best industrial design and user experience teams through complex programs to create successful product + brand solutions in nearly every industry imaginable.

Jan Boelen (¦1967, Genk) graduated as a product designer at the Media and Design Academy (KHLim), now the MAD Faculty, in Genk (B). He currently holds the position of artistic director of Z33 in Hasselt (B) and Head of the Masters Department Social Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven (NL).He is chairman of the architecture and design commission of the Flemish Community. Commissioned by the Permanent Deputation of the Province of Limburg, Jan Boelen reformed the Provincial Centre for the Visual Arts into Z33, a house for contemporary art.Since 2002, Z33 has been fashioning projects and exhibitions that encourage the visitor to look at everyday matters in a novel manner. It is a unique laboratory and a meeting place for experiment and innovation where one can discover cutting-edge exhibitions with contemporary art and design. Z33 does not have its own collection of works, but accommodates exhibition shows continuously.In his curatorial work, Jan Boelen has collaborated with Raf Simons, Studio Makkink Bey, John K÷rmeling, Thomas LommTe, Dunne & Raby, Marti QuixT, Aldo Bakker, Konstantin Grcic and Joseph Grima.In addition to the exhibitions at Z33 û House for Contemporary Art, Z33 also organizes projects in the open space, as well as projects commissioned by other organizations.At the initiative of Z33 and the Province of Limburg, Manifesta 9 took place in Belgium in 2012. In 2014 he curated the design biennial of Ljubljana in Slovenia and leaded a series of international debates on the future of design.
Shuwei was born in 1981 in China. She studied MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2007-2009. As a serial entrepreneur, she has 12 years intensive experience of marketing, design, product, technology and investment. In 2014, she founded Zaozuo, a lifestyle brand that combines global design and domestic manufacturing to present the decent urban lifestyle for new Chinese middle-class.
Zhang graduated from Central Saint Martins Art & Design College in London, and is a member of the Architectural Association School of Architecture. He established Zhoujie Zhang Digital Lab in 2010. He is a pioneer in the realm of digital creativity.
His work is known for being independent, experimental and futuristic. Zhang believes that objects in the digital world can grow and morph much like things found in nature, and he is dedicated to discovering and exploring the methods within these transformations. His work mainly focuses on the simplicity of logic, variety and unpredictability, which is based on his understanding of nature.
His collections have been exhibited widely around the world and selected by museums as well as individual collectors. His work has appeared in mainstream media such as Wallpaper*, the New York Times, and Vogue.
Clay has been working in design and research since late last century, having shifted over from film and cultural studies. He spent much of his early career at frog, working in interaction and design research. There, he focused on complex design systems, innovation methods, and prototyping, and taught prototyping at SVA's MFA in Interaction Design program.
He left frog to build the interaction team at Smart Design, and spent many days in awe of the physical prototyping skills of the industrial design team.
He now leads design at Zocdoc, a service that help people navigate tough healthcare choices by quickly connect them to the right care. He remains focused on user-centered design, and works to ensure that everyone at Zocdoc develops a deep understanding of the patients and providers they help. Throughout his design career he has rescued cats.
