Stacy was previously the Director of Design at Clover Health, where she led the design team's vision, strategy, and direction. As an early employee, she helped scale the company from 4 employees to 500+ in 4 years. Prior to Clover, she was a Design Lead at Yammer (acquired by Microsoft) and has designed for Fortune 500 companies including Facebook, Google, and Intuit.
She is currently consulting at Resolve to Save Lives, a global health initiative based in New York.
Dan Wu is a privacy lawyer with a JD and PhD from Harvard. TechCrunch, The Multifamily Executive, Hackernoon, Columbia Public Policy Review, and Shareable have featured his research on how technology and law can advance affordable housing and transit. He works on data ethics and product at a leading data governance startup.
Lingjing is an experienced design leader and specialist for complex service redesign, systematic change, digital transformation and innovation. For 8 years, Lingjing has been working on delivering services, award-winning digital products and positive organisational and social outcomes in different sectors for clients across England, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
She is passionate about bringing clarity to systemic problems and supporting teams to be more creative. Most recently she has been working for the UK Government, Mayor’s office, British Film Institute and many Local Authorities across the UK to tackle complex social problems and improving public services.
Lingjing is a lead service designer at FutureGov, a digital and design company specialising in designing better public services. In the past ten years, FutureGov has helped more than a hundred local and national authorities across four continents think differently about public services.
Lauren is a European designer and entrepreneur from Scotland. She lives in London and spends her time as Head of Design at Good Lab and founder of #upfront. She makes, thinks, writes and speaks about confidence, design, social and change. She co-founded Snook, one of the UK's leading service design and social innovation agencies which uses design to make services better. Lauren was recently awarded an OBE for her services to design and diversity and was recently featured in ELLE UK as 30 women under 30 changing the world. J. Paul is Service Designer & Speculative Designer, and leads Neeley Worldwide where he helps organizations explores the social, cultural, economic, and ethical implications of emerging technologies, designing speculative futures that help engage with possibility as a way of reframing current state opportunities. Recent projects have focused on happiness, healthcare and wellbeing, sleep, self quantification, future mobility, AI, synthetic biology, closed loop fashion, homelessness prevention, and issues of complexity and computational irreducibility in design and business.
J. Paul has worked professionally at Mayo Clinic’s Center for Innovation as Service Designer & Researcher focusing on the healthcare experience and delivery, at Teton Radiology as Service Design Manager realizing innovative medical imaging solutions, and at Unilever in Consumer & Market Insights on brand development.
J. Paul is a tutor on the Service Design course at the Royal College of Art, and has guest lectured at Imperial College: Computer Science, RCA: Design Interactions, NYU: ITP, Köln International School of Design, RISD, and SVA: Design for Social Innovation. J. Paul holds an MA in Design Interactions from the Royal College of Art where he studied with Tony Dunne & Fiona Raby, and is a graduate of Northwestern University where he studied Communications Studies with a concentration in Economics.
George Sheldrake is a service and experience designer with over 15 years in the industry, working with clients in the UK, US, Europe and Australia. She has worked across the breadth of the design industry, from magazines and branding through to product and service transformation.
She believes in delivering design systems at the highest standard, from working with 90’s graphic designer Neville Brody to set up fashion magazines and culture brands, to creating the original BBC digital system GEL that is still in use today.
Her service design experience ranges from startup products like BBC Global iPlayer to an ecosystem fitness product for Nike, to transforming service approach in UK government for GDS and Ministry of Justice.
George is dedicated to creating products and services designed for the people that use them and the needs of the organizations around them. She is currently working with the HM Land Registry to support digital transformation and service change.
She is passionate about bringing together the breadth of her experience to design systems and services to help organizations change, both ‘what they do’ and ‘how they do it’.
Sarah is the Co-founder and managing Director of Snook, an award winning design consultancy working at the forefront of civic, public sector and democratic innovation. Sarah focuses on making social change happen by re-thinking public services from a human perspective.
Sarah co-founded Snook alongside Lauren Currie in 2009 and in her 7 years experience has worked with a vast array of public, private and third sector clients predominately across health, mental health and social care, education, civic and local authority and education to design services that work for people.
Aside from design she loves Cycling and DJs part time.
She speaks regularly about design, innovation (aka making things better) and entrepreneurialism (aka taking risks on making things happen).
Louse is Head of Design for the UK government, based at GDS where she leads a 600 strong team of designers working across government to transform services.
Louise joined GDS in 2014 as the first service designer in government and has established the discipline since then. She is now programme director for the new Services authority at GDS.
With a background in Art, Linguistics and Economics Louise started her career as a writer and producer at Tate, where she lead on digital audience development before working as a consultant in the re-design of large, recently privatised utilities like health, telecommunications, energy and finance.
She’s a passionate believer in using design to solve complex problems and is a prominent protagonist in the design industry - redefining the practice of service design to be a practical, technically embedded profession.

Since the dawn of internet economy companies, he’s lovingly crafted products and services, that people actually use and enjoy on a daily basis, some have become verbs in global society.
Steve (or Buzz, it’s a long story!) is a Design Leader and knows what it takes to create products and brands with soul. He’s had the fortune of working with some of the best designers and engineers around, and together they’ve been instrumental in designing some of the most loved products on the planet.
Buzz is now leading the wonderful design team at Skyscanner, where he’s scaling the design team to take the product and brand to becoming a household name globally.
Always wanting to share stories and learnings, Buzz teaches at many of the leading design schools in the UK and Europe, and is a regular public speaker.
Joe Gebbia is a designer and entrepreneur, and is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Airbnb. In 2009, Gebbia was listed in BusinessWeek’s Top 20 Best Young Tech Entrepreneurs. In 2010, he was named in Inc. Magazine’s Thirty under Thirty, and 2013, he was named in Fortune Magazine’s Forty-under-Forty.
As Chief Product Officer, Gebbia oversees various teams to create a simple and easy Airbnb experience for all. The results are a product that considers the user’s experience from the moment of online contact to the end of their physical stay in Airbnb listings around the world. Under his leadership, Airbnb is now at the forefront of the emerging discipline of service design, a practice that improves the quality of interactions between service providers and their customers.
Gebbia's lifelong appreciation for art and design led him to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where he now sits on the Board of Trustees. There, he honed his skills while obtaining degrees in product design and graphic design. While studying in the Northeast, Gebbia complimented his creative pursuits and studies at RISD with business coursework at Brown University and MIT. Influenced by the work of Jean Prouve, Charles and Ray Eames, and the Bauhaus movement, Gebbia has long been immersed in the art of designing for the human experience.
After moving to San Francisco, Gebbia worked as a designer for Chronicle Books where he experienced first-hand how a design-led business worked, department by department. The culmination of these ideas and experiences came to fruition in 2008, when he co-founded Airbnb with Brian Chesky and Nathan Blecharczyk. What began in an apartment in San Francisco during an IDSA conference has spread to 34,000 cities in over 192 countries.
Beatrice Galilee is a London-based curator, writer, critic, consultant and lecturer of contemporary architecture and design. Trained in Architecture at Bath University, and in History of Architecture MSc at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, Beatrice specialises in the dissemination of architecture and design through city-wide projects, media, curatorial practice, research, editing and teaching.
Beatrice is the Chief Curator of the 2013 Lisbon Architecture Triennale, Close, Closer. She was co-curator at 2011 Gwangju Design Biennale, 2009 Shenzhen Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, and curator of the experimental performance design projects Hacked and Afrofuture at Milan Design Week. She is the co-founder and director of The Gopher Hole, an exhibition and project space in London, and is associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins.
From 2006-2009 Beatrice was Architecture Editor for Icon Magazine, one of Europe's leading publications in architecture and design. In 2008 she won the IBP Architectural Journalist of the Year Award.
Beatrice's writing has been published in a number of international magazines and books as well as daily newspapers, including Domus, Abitare, MARK, Tank, Pin-Up, Above, Building Design, Architectural Review, Architecture Today, RIBA Journal, Architect's Journal, DAMn, Frame, Wallpaper, Another Magazine, and the Serpentine Pavilion catalogue.

David McKendrick is an British art director and graphic designer. In 2014 he founded B.A.M. with business partner and fellow art director Lee Belcher. B.A.M. is a london based creative agency specialising in art direction, design, publishing and branding.
Formerly creative director at British Esquire. Mckendrick graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2000 and began his career as a Designer at Graphic Thought Facility, one of the most innovative design companies in London. The group produced work for The Tate Gallery, Booth-Clibborn Editions, the Design Museum, the V&A and Habitat, among others.
Previously, McKendrick worked as Art Editor of the Bespoke department at Wallpaper* magazine and as a Senior Designer at the fashionable design group, North.
In 2009 McKendrick was named BSME (British Society of Magazine Editors) Art Director of the Year. In 2008 he was also named PPA (Periodical Publishers Association) Designer of the Year. In 2007 he won Best Magazine Design at the MD&JA (Magazine Design & Journalism Awards)n for Esquire's relaunch.
In November 2015 he was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Design at Southampton Solent University. McKendrick also is a visiting lecturer and guest tutor at, Glasgow School of Art, Bath School of Art and Design, Southampton Solent University and most recenly Nottingham Trent University.
Cathy founded CBi China Bridge in 2003, the first insight-based innovation consulting firm in China. Most recently, she co-founded Successful Design, a social enterprise aiming to amplifying the value of design.
Having broad influence both socially and on the global design industry, Cathy is frequently invited to conferences in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. She enjoys adventures; from crossing the Gobi desert in Dunhuang to bungee jumping in New Zealand. Her continued dedication to challenging the limits fuels her creativity for both business and design.
Luis is President and Founder of INSITUM, a leading innovation consulting firm. He co-founded INSITUM in 2002 and today has more than 110 employees and offices in Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Peru and the United States. INSITUM helps the biggest companies in the world create an innovation culture by envisioning new products, developing new services and designing better experiences. He has been involved in more than 1000 innovation projects for a wide variety of sectors. Before founding INSITUM he worked as a strategy consultant for DiamondCluster in Barcelona and E-Lab (now Sapient) in Chicago.Luis holds a bachelor's in Industrial Design and a Master's degree in Innovation Planning from the Institute of Design, IIT in Chicago. He is a prolific speaker a member of the committee for various conferences on innovation and research.
