RISE™

RISE is a multi-faceted lighting platform meticulously designed, from the ground up, using the latest in LED technologies. It is the most complete series of energy-efficient spot, accent, landscape and floodlight fixtures. RISE uses a patent-pending, MACRO Lock™ bracket, delivering 360° pan and 180° tilt from one single adjustment point. It is unique in an industry that typically uses multiple joints to achieve full adjustability. This bracketry is also unique in that it allows expansion from one to five luminaires, mounted from one single installation point which offers individual aiming and customization of beam angles and lumen output for each. RISE can illuminate various locations and spaces from one single installation. The small packaging of RISE does not limit its performance. It's unmatched 5° beam angle and outputs from 300-11,000 lumens provide more power and control than any other product on the market. A truly scalable design, RISE is a unique new tool for lighting designers to perfect their craft.

The design of the RISE product platform provides an exceptional user experience by delivering a unique value narrative centered around beauty, size, impact, flexibility, and speed.

Beauty: Many LED Lighting products have very functional or industrial aesthetics with prominent heat sink fins and exposed hardware. From the outset, a key target for the Rise platform design was the implementation of a sleek-bodied minimalist aesthetic adopted as Ecosense Lighting's design language in 2014. This design language dictated the use of the product's smooth-bodied casing to dissipate heat, which required many iterations of manufacturing technology, thermal testing and assembly efficiency to perfect. The result is a clean aesthetic that has customers discussing whether to use it indoors as well as outside.

Size: LED Lighting manufacturers go to great lengths to manage heat, because heat degrades the performance and lifetime of LEDs. Consequently, many LED Lighting products are large and cumbersome in comparison to filament bulb equivalents with similar light output. To create the most compact product in its class, the RISE platform required carefully selected electronic and mechanical materials to withstand higher running temperatures, as well as a robust thermal system to couple LED heat into the product casing. The successful result of this effort is a product line more than 50% smaller than market contemporaries: RISE 080 is about the size of a Coke can.

Impact: A key measure of a spotlights ability to emphasize an object is captured by a measure called CBCP (Center Beam CandlePower.) Simply put, the more tightly the spotlight can focus the light (and the higher the CBCP), the brighter that spot will appear when grazing a building façade or highlighting a sculpture. The selection of a cutting-edge LED source coupled with a purpose-built optical system allows Rise to produce a 5-degree beam, resulting in a CBCP twice that of the industry norm. Putting the light where it is most needed creates the greatest visual impact.

Flexibility: Traditional LED outdoor spot and flood lights have separate mechanical configurations for each light output level. The RISE platform modular construction only uses two mechanical sizes, ganged in multiples to provide higher light output levels. By the nature of the mounting system, those mechanical elements can either be pointed in the same direction or in several different directions. Moreover, individual elements can be configured with different beam angles, power levels and lighting hues. The result is unprecedented choice for the customer, allowing the lighting designer the freedom to create nearly unlimited variations to fulfill her vision.

Speed: Traditional LED manufacturers stock a limited set of popular products to meet customer requirements and require a 6-12-week lead time to deliver any other product variation. The modular design of the RISE product platform (the internal "core" can be pre-assembled and fit to different color housings late in the assembly process, for instance) allows Ecosense to offer over 500,000 product variations and deliver any one of those configurations in 10 days or less. Late changes to landscape layouts or lighting mounting positions need no longer present a crisis for end customers, because with RISE they can delay ordering products until 10 days prior to installation without restriction.
