"Public wheelchair" offers a functional and versatile solution for crowded hospital waiting areas. The combination of rental wheelchairs and waiting room seats will fit the need of the patients and provide better space utilization in hospitals.

The form of the wheelchair started with bend aluminum tube chairs in order to be functional and easy for production. During the CMF design process, I use soft elements like orange leather to make this hospital furniture more user-friendly.

The structure is based on the handrim-drive wheelchair, designing for the users whose height between 150cm and 180cm.
