IKETEKKO Co., Ltd. is a company devoted to design for industrial machine engines, working carefully everyday with 0.001mm of precision. The series MINIM was born from the company's passion to create 'tools' with the precise and careful mind of craftsman ship and technology.

We designed a series of tablewares that needs a careful mind of craftsmanship. Nowadays, we have way more objects than we really need and most of them are cheap that makes people to use without heart and eventually thrown them away. What we are trying to do is to produce higher quality object (with passion and precision for details) to make people appreciate things more.

When Japan's economic was growing, factories from suburban areas rely on getting orders from the big companies, however, orders got decreased after economic bubble, how to make good use of the high technology they already have but still survive is the problem that most of the factories are facing right now. MINIM is created under this situation.

The products can be made with the drill that can no longer to use for engine covers, also with project it also reconnect the suburban factories with the market directly. Moreover, manufacturing precise object that created with cares can reduce mass production and lower the elimination rate, giving the whole society a more continuously circulation and also could provide a new values for people that went through economic bubble to make a better future.
