1. Summarize the problem you set out to solve. What was the challenge posed to you? Did it get you excited and why?

I designed a light.
The challenge posed to me was finding the perfect size bulb to fit into the turnbuckle.
Once i found the perfect Edison bulb I got very excited to see it fit perfectly into the Turnbuckle.

2. What point of view did you bring to the challenge? Was there anything additional that you wanted to achieve with this project or bring to this project that was not part of the original brief?

The turnbuckle is used to pull tension on two cables connected to both ends.
I saw the turnbuckle as a protector for the bulb which would be inserted into the center.
This object is a direct representation of the tension we encounter in the world we live in.

I wanted to give the turnbuckle a new life.
In its previous life, it was used to tension bridge cables, and now it creates light.

6. If you could have done one thing differently with the project, what would you have changed?
